The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success

As parents, it is our desire to see our kids become successful in life. But how do we really define success?

In today’s generation, success is essentially related to material things. Having a great career, a big house, cars, and money is usually how our society views success. What we fail to realize is that isn’t the true essence of success. Yes, it does play a role but it doesn’t entirely represent it.

Success in life is all about authenticity. To be your authentic self. We shouldn’t teach them to act based on our society’s approval but it should be based on who they truly are. Teach them not to conform or please other people, but instead teach them to listen to their body and listen to their mind.

In this episode, I would like to share the seven spiritual laws of success we can teach our children. A truly important lesson we can start teaching our children. Planting the seeds to grow successful children.

Redefining Success

Let us raise our consciousness in how we define success for our children. It is not just about the material things, but it’s about the things that really matter. To love, have compassion, gratefulness, and joy are some of the things we should plant in our kids. Values that can really define success in raising better individuals. It’s not about the label that our society dictates, rather it’s about the soul. Redefining success on a more spiritual level.

The Seven Spiritual Laws

Recently, I have read The Seven Spiritual Laws by Deepak Chopra. I was deeply moved because one of my dreams is to see my children find meaning in their life on a daily basis, in simplicity and wonder. Being curious, being themselves, and being authentic. And that’s the true meaning of success.

  • Law of Pure Potentiality - Anything is possible. If you put your heart and mind into it, do it in a humane and spiritual way, and possibilities are endless. An important law we must teach our kids, to make them aware of their potential.

  • Law of Giving - If you want to get something, you have to give it first. Success is also about give and take. The universe gives back what you learn to give. Teaching our children to give is teaching them to become selfless.

  • Law of Karma - When you make a choice, you change your reality and the future. Making choices that empower you. It is important to teach them that whatever they decide to do now, has an equivalent reaction or consequence.

  • Law of Least Effort - In other words, this law is all about going with the flow. Sometimes, we just can’t control the circumstances in our lives. This teaches them that it’s okay to not get what they want, it’s okay to say No, and that sometimes there has to be boundaries.

  • Law of Intention and Desire - When you have a desire, you plant a seed. Let’s teach our children to dream, and work on their dreams. From imagination or idea, reality follows.

  • Law of Detachment - Success is a journey and a process. And it is something to be enjoyed, not endured. Along the way, our children will have a change in choices, but whatever they choose to be or choose to do, we must teach them to enjoy the process.

  • Law of Dharma - The last law is all about knowing that we are all here for a reason, for a purpose. It’s finding that purpose and living that purpose. We must teach our children that all of us were born into this world to fulfill our purpose and live a meaningful life.

Conclusion

We all are spiritual beings. Life is all about living a purposeful and meaningful life. To influence each other, to connect with ourselves spiritually, and make an impact on the one life we were given. Success is not about acquiring worldly riches, real success is living our best life, and living a life of purpose. And as parents, this is the most important wisdom we can impart to our children. Conscious parenting is raising successful children.
