Some stay-at-home parents underestimate their own abilities. Just because you aren't making money doesn't mean the worth of your efforts is any less. In fact, you choose a role that money cannot even replace.

How important is effective communication in the parent-child relationship?

A good relationship is built on effective communication. Having conflicts throughout the day because of communication is not the way we want it to be.

As our kids grow, they develop their own uniqueness at the same time they create their own space, their own views, and characteristics, so they are more influenced by their peers, their surroundings, or devices. It gets a little harder for us parents to get into their space.
